Dr. Shipra Gaur MBBS, FRANZCOG, MS (ObGyn) Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Fertility Clinician Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery |
Dr. Shipra Gaur completed her MBBS and Master of Surgery in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from S.N. Medical College, a tertiary hospital in India, in 1992. Following postgraduate qualifications, she completed her Fellowship in Gynaecology under internationally renowned surgeon, Prof. H. S. Asopa and learnt “Assisted Reproductive” techniques from Dr. B.N. Chakrovarty (known for first IVF baby in India) at Kolkata and Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She developed expertise in “Minimal Access Surgery” while practising independently and later formalised her training by completing her Diploma and Fellowship in MAS at World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon, India (affiliated with University of Dundee, U.K.).
After migrating to Australia in 2008, Dr. Gaur obtained her Fellowship from Royal Australia & NZ College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2010, as a Royal North Shore Trainee in NSW. She has over 8 years of work experience as a Consultant and Lecturer in tertiary hospitals across Australia, including Nepean Hospital and Blacktown Hospital in NSW.
